poems globe poem ii -  in the globe that we’re on

“in the globe that we’re on”
Poem by Audrey Isabelle Mabanta

i’ll rarely admit it, however it is important to see it.

in the globe that we’re on:

snow does melt,
rain stops falling,
consequences are to come,
we become undone.

plastic is poisonous,
scenes stay imagined,
water is clear,
with all the room for more.

it’s better this way,
tucked away,
without needing one’s permission
to change.
