sweet sweet sweetness
i have tasted you
coughed up the phlegm in my lungs
maybe if i believe in it a bit more
the pursuit of a less lonely happiness
and not dedicate so much of my faith
to mere beliefs of what’s to come
sweet sweet sweetness
i could have known you
had i not bit my own tongue.
